Our client, a leading member of the Big 4 Chartered grouping who has been nominated the leading Tax Adviser in Australia by the International Tax Review on numerous occasions, is currently looking to attract a Senior Manager to their successful Brisbane team.

The Tax team assists their clients with compliance matters, audit and dispute resolution as well as advising on complex and sophisticated transactions. By partnering closely with these business our client is also able to develop solutions to maximise input tax credit recovery, minimise cash flow impacts, streamline compliance requirements and build relationships with the Australian Taxation Office ("ATO") and other relevant government bodies.

The primary responsibilities of the successful applicant will be to attend to the day to day needs of existing clients whilst assisting in the efficient operation of the group, in particular the efficient and effective management of projects, exploring new business development opportunities and actively driving such opportunities, building upon and strengthening an existing base of networks and providing meaningful coaching to junior staff members. This includes all aspects of client work allocated in consultation with, and under the direction of Directors and Partners, along with the management of projects and delegation of work to more junior staff members.

Level of Experience:
• Minimum of six years experience in a Tax consulting services environment is essential.

• Ability to leverage off existing relationships both internally and externally and utilise such relationships to drive new work opportunities.

• A team focussed style with strong organisational and project management skills.
• A willingness and ability to coach and mentor more junior staff to facilitate the development of those staff.

Given a recent increase to the already impressive pipeline of Corporate Recovery and Insolvency assignments, our Brisbane based client is currently looking to add two further experienced Senior Consultants to their highly successful team. The firm’s Corporate Recovery group possesses extensive experience in providing formal insolvency consultancy to Voluntary Administrations, Receiverships and Liquidations with commercial solutions being provided to companies, directors and creditors alike. This expertise, maintained for over 30 years here in Queensland, has ensured our client is readily sought out for participation in some of the highest profile Corporate Recovery assignments on offer.

Key responsibilities will include in-depth company analysis, due diligence, commercial assessment based on market opportunities and the delivery of either a turnaround or formal insolvency solution where appropriate. Previous experience within a Chartered environment focused on Corporate Recovery/Insolvency, Transaction Advisory or Business Turnaround will be highly advantageous with a minimum of 18mths experience essential to be considered at a Senior Consultant level.

Your practical expertise will be back by current or completed studies with the Australian CA programme (or equivalent) being highly regarded.
